Sasquatch....

AHH august...summer is never complete without a Sasquatch sighting.
Yes that’s right, I saw sasqutch, big foot. Whatever you want to call him. Right in my own back yard. Well not my own back yard, but a few miles away. Let me start at the beginning…
So almost everyday I take a run, or walk with my mother along the c and o canal, here in DC, go north a few miles an you hit the belt way. This particular day I was with my mother, so we went for a quick jaunt. She was not feeling well so we stopped at a lock and had a breather before turning around. This was within range of the beltway, but not yet passing it. We decided that it would be for the better good if we turned around and as we were walking away, we hear some thrashing in the woods. Because at this particular point the distance between canal and river is pretty wide there are hiking paths, and often wild things like deer and squirrels, I thought nothing of it. taking a quick glance I saw it was none other then SASQUATCH!!! Okay, it was a naked man. Still, it was not pretty, overweight, hairy and pale.
I discounted that he was some weird sicko flasher or homeless man because as soon as he saw us he realized he would be seen, and thus turned away. Lucky for me I only saw his side. I know he was not homeless because he was wearing tennis shoes (still on the crisper side of white), socks, and ray bands. A homeless guy would probably be wearing the entirety of his material possessions, and would not have clean socks. Actually, he looked like Gene Hackmen. He was probably some nudist hiking through the woods there, not realizing that he was heading towards the towpath.
Of course I did the only thing a person could do at that moment, I kept walking and thought "Gee, I wish I had my camera." Who doesn't like a little extortion money?
My questions for him are these; why? Why would you want to traipse around the woods naked?
No really, why? You could get ticks, or worse, in very bad places. You could get shot by the secret service if you ran into the beltway at the wrong time.
You didn't think you would be seen? Really? This is DC, it's very hard not to be seen. Aren't there place you can go and be naked, like a summer camp...for old naked people?
