So this summer I have been experimenting with ice cream. I made some frozen yogurt, which got this weird grainy texture with ice crystals. Compensated my making some macerated peaches in a lovely juice reduction, it almost made up for it. I went peach picking with my friend at this little pick your own produce farm about 15 mins outside the city. I spent all my money on peaches and couldn't afford the blackberries.
I think I'll go back tomorrow and get some of those blackberries. They would make an excellent ice cream. But only after I get a new ice cream maker, maybe an old school crank one. That way I can control the texture and extra cooling agents, like ice, to the bucket to help cool extra cold. Ice cold, baby.
